Our large, B&B-like house sits on a knoll overlooking Keuka Lake with an extraordinary view, especially at sunset. We have 120 feet of lake front with a large private beach with a dock, picnic table, chairs, a firepit and an excellent swimming area.
The house is nearly 2,000 square feet. We added two bathrooms as well as a laundry room. The very well-equipped kitchen is modern with a dishwasher as well as a UV water filterl. People love our house, as you'll see from the reviews. You can find the reviews, calendar, rates and more photos here. (To see the calendar, click on "Rates and Availability.")
We offer great offseason rates for our 4-season home. Plus, by reserving directly ([email protected] or 888-410-1999), you don't have to pay the vacation websites' fee on renters: 5-12% of the rental fee.
We are near numerous wineries, most of which stay open on weekends through winter. In the spring you can often hear the sound of the creek flowing at the edge of our property. In the fall, the color around the lake is spectacular. In the winter, our house has central heat and a gas-burning fireplace in the den. The view out our new picture windows is fabulous. We are less than an hour from Bristol Mountain Ski Area.
From our covered porch you can enjoy the ever-changing light off the lake. You can walk or bike the access road in front of our house (just 1.5 miles long, with the main highway being above our house). You can hike up one of canyons into the hills above the lake, to some extraordinary waterfalls. You can walk or bike the trail that connects Keuka and Seneca Lakes. Or fish -- the area near our house is known as one of the best bass fishing areas in the Finger Lakes. Our house notes include details about all these options and many more.
There are three good-sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs, including a 225-square-foot master bedroom. All three bedrooms have lake views as well as air conditioners. There are queen beds in all three plus two twin beds in the north bedroom. We have two roll-away beds.
The den downstairs can be closed off and has a full sofa bed, with an armoire for clothes.
The front of the house is a covered porch with Adirondack chairs and a teak dining table. There is also a covered flagstone patio off the driveway.
