Cancer Research: Cell and Gene Targeted Treatments
We fund research into safe, effective therapies that promise to eliminate devestating side effects. 100% of your donation will fund research for all cancers.
Cell and Gene Therapy Research for Cancer targets specific gene and cell mutations, thereby reducing or eliminating devastating and debilitating side effects of traditional treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation or surgery. ACGT is the only non-profit in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to cell and gene therapy research.
We support revolutionary scientific research into the causes, treatment and prevention of all types of cancer using cells and genes as medicine. Cell and gene therapies for cancer attack the cancer, not the patient.
We identify, fund and monitor innovative research that meets a rigorous set of scientific standards, and has the potential, in the foreseeable future, to treat cancers of all types, without toxic side effects.
Cell and gene therapy treatments for cancer are saving lives, now. More research is needed to move more of these therapies from the laboratory to more patients.
We will educate the public about the potential for cancer gene therapy and facilitate greater collaborations among the scientific community to foster the best possible research and ultimately the best treatment.
We are the only non-profit in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to funding cell and gene therapies for cancer.
Funded first gene therapy treatment approved by the FDA in August 2017.
