How do you help people in my community?

When you here the words, “you have cancer”, the emotional impact goes deeper than anyone could imagine.  Loved ones within the family often can suffer even more than the patients themselves.  Providing this service, free of charge, completely confidential,  is available in any community in the United States.

Why do you need my support?

The counseling line and our research dollars are all donor supported.  Thanks to small gifts made over more than 25 years, we are able to continue this service and offer it to people free of charge.  Information is more available than ever before but our service of first hand telephone counseling is unique and one of a kind.  Our ultimate vision is that “We see a world without cancer”

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

80% of all donations go to research and direct services, which also include educational materials as well as everything previously mentioned.  We are audited annually by independent CPA accountants and adhere to all the strict federal guidelines.

Can I Volunteer? How?

We are always looking for volunteers to help us in workplace giving campaigns.  This can be many things, such as manning a table at a health fair or general agency fair.  Small speaking opportunities arise too and sometimes just helping to distribute materials is very much appreciated.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jan Holcomb at 303-239-3317 or 1-800-321-1557, Extension 3317.
