Naval Services FamilyLine

Since 1965, dedicated to educating military spouses about the challenges/rewards inherent to the lifestyle. Experienced volunteer Navy spouses share current insights - information - publications - team mentoring programs - seminars - ALL SERVICES FREE.

How do you help people in my community?

Military members and their families walk amongst all of us - they're our neighbors, co-workers, and friends.  FamilyLine supports these families with a helping hand.  We have military spouse volunteers who personally assist mothers, fathers, wives and husbands of service members by answering questions by phone and email.  We provide resources and education through our publications and programs.  We help military families here in the Washington, DC area as well as around the world.

Why do you need my support?

This nation will continue to rely on our sea services as a component of a strong military.  Their family members will always need support and encouragement as they also bravely serve.  FamilyLine volunteers provide this support by sharing their special lifetime experiences.  This help is freely and generously offered because we take care of our own.  But we receive no funding from the military and must rely on friends like you who understand how important it is to have strong military families.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

Our senior spouse leaders are actively involved in planning our programs and budgets.  We are audited annually by the Navy.  Every dollar contributed to FamilyLine goes directly to program services and publications.

Can I Volunteer? How?

We always welcome any current or former members of the military family as volunteers.  Please call the FamilyLine office at (202) 433-2333.
