Naval Services FamilyLine

Since 1965, dedicated to educating military spouses about the challenges/rewards inherent to the lifestyle. Experienced volunteer Navy spouses share current insights - information - publications - team mentoring programs - seminars - ALL SERVICES FREE.

Why do we exist?

Life in the Navy and other sea services is not easy.  Through our publications and programs, we educate spouses to have confidence and a positive attitude about the challenging military lifestyle.  We are unlike any other military support organization because we are all volunteer spouses of the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard - we offer our collective knowledge and life experiences and pass them on.  We know that our efforts help with mission readiness:  when the spouse is confident and prepared, the Sailor or Marine can deploy around the world with a clear mind.  We know that what we do helps with retention:  when the spouse understands the mission and has pride in the Sailor or Marine, the family is more likely to stay in the service.  Mission readiness and retention are key to a strong military.

What have you accomplished?

For 41 years, FamilyLine has assisted sea service families.  We have sent thousands of publications around the world to Navy, Marine and Coast Guard spouses to help them understand their unique lifestyle.  Our COMPASS program, located in 15 fleet areas, teaches young spouses to be proud of being a part of the military.  Our leadership courses have prepared spouses to guide hundreds of others.  We are very good at sharing our knowledge and experiences in order to make life better for those who follow us.

How do you help people in my community? Why do you need my support?
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it? Can I Volunteer? How?
