Mary's Center embraces culturally diverse communities in the DC Metropolitan region and provides over 15,000 individuals with high quality healthcare, social and education services, regardless of ability to pay.
Why do we exist?
Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care was established in 1988 to meet the need for maternal and pediatric services in the Latino communities of Washington, DC. Today, Mary's Center serves a multicultural population across the city, providing holistic and culturally appropriate medical care, family literacy, home visiting, case management, mentoring, and child development to more than 3,000 clients each year, most of whom are hard-working families in jobs that do not offer health insurance.
What have you accomplished?
Mary's Center improves health and educational outcomes for thousands of area families each year. By providing comprehensive services in a holistic and integrated way, we help families overcome linguistic, financial and logistical barriers to success.
