Provides undergraduate education grants to children of military members – officer and enlisted (Active, Guard or Reserve) – who died while in active service to our Nation.
How do you help people in my community?
Our students live and attend school throughout the U.S., and internationally. More than 1600 students are receiving financial assistance from the Military Officers Association of America Scholarship Fund for the 2008-09 academic year – every community is touched.
Why do you need my support?
The need is great! Our military families are asked to make lots of sacrifices and when a mother or father has made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, their children become our responsibility. With our undergraduate educational assistance, they are able to get the most from their education by focusing on their studies instead of worrying about working or incurring a very large indebtedness. They can participate and volunteer in their communities, take active leadership roles on their campuses, and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. They are not forgotten and their parent’s sacrifice is rewarded.
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?
Since 1948, every dollar contributed to the Military Officers Association of America Scholarship Fund has been paid to students—not one penny goes to administrative or overhead costs. Operation of the Fund is supported entirely by the Military Officers Association of America.
Can I Volunteer? How?
Yes. We have opportunities for volunteers to perform routine clerical work
