Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc.

Provides, free of charge, Braille and Large Print Bibles and Christian literature in more than 30 languages to blind and vision impaired individuals of 120 countries throughout the world.

Why do we exist?

We provide the message of Salvation to the blind and visually impaired of the world regardless of their religious affiliation or denomination. Our service is unique due to the fact that all of our materials are provided completely free of charge to those who ask for them. We help others who are less fortunate by nurturing the spiritual needs of those who know Christ and those who do not.

What have you accomplished?

Lutheran Braille Workers produce portions of the Bible and Christian materials in more than 40 languages and provide them free of charge to more than 130 countries of the world. Several quotes from readers are: “These precious books are received like gold by the elderly, sight-impaired.” “Our inmates at the correctional center wish to thank you for your books and Bibles. They have meant so much to the men who could not read before your materials arrived.” A pastor in Peru was thrilled to finally be able to read God’s Word for himself in Spanish Braille. Many individuals, even today, risk their lives to distribute our materials to various countries of the world.

How do you help people in my community? Why do you need my support?
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it? Can I Volunteer? How?
