How do you help people in my community?

Over the years, KidsPeace created over 35 programs. There are currently 50 centers across the country serving more than 2,500 children daily! The following highlights only a few programs in the KidsPeace continuum of care.

KidsPeace strives to provide outreach, prevention and public education programs to help kids and families before their crisis reach a breaking point, reaching millions of children and families in every state in the country and around the globe through innovative and interactive Web sites (www.kidspeace.org and www.Teencentral.net), a National Referral Network, Public Education Resources and a toll-free helpline service (1-800-334-4KID.) KidsPeace community-based services are available to children and families 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Therapeutic programs are delivered in the home, in public schools, after school and in extended community locations.

KidsPeace Intensive Treatment Family foster care programs serve children from around the country and are unique in the field. KidsPeace has five major residential campuses in four states to provide an incredibly rich environment for kids. Nine accredited schools in four sates are an integral part of the KidsPeace continuum of care. They are set apart from other schools by their unique and proven ability to educate and care for kids overcoming crisis.

The KidsPeace Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital caring for kids in deep emotional crisis. It is the only hospital of its kind in its area. The kids served in our hospital often have very unique and specialized needs.

Your support will ensure we are here for them in their time of need. Unfortunately life can be very harsh, and far too many children are suffering through situations that are far more painful than most of us could ever imagine.
