Hospice Caring, Inc. provides compassionate emotional and practical support to adults, children and families facing life-limiting illness and grief.  All services are provided at no charge. 

How do you help people in my community?

Terminal illness and grief do not discriminate; nor does Hospice Caring, which helps all individuals regardless of race, gender or financial status. Although our hospice services are available only to Montgomery County residents, our bereavement support groups are open to anyone who wishes to attend, whether or not we served their family. Hospice Caring, Inc. also acts as a resource to callers from around the country. We provide informational guidance to help people understand their options and choices.

Hospice Caring, Inc. supports the individuals need to maintain control of their lives for as long as possible and to die with dignity.  Each person and each family will determine the support that best serves them when facing end-of-life challenges, and Hospice Caring is there to help.

Why do you need my support?

We could not accomplish our mission of free service to those in need without the many types of support provided by a caring community.  Your financial gift will allow us, through our unique volunteer support system, to continue to aid individuals and families facing life-limiting illness in such a way that their remaining days may be filled with dignity and the knowledge that people care.

Your act of generosity also assures that hospice concepts of care are interwoven into the fabric of community life, with the result that the community becomes a compassionate and caring one - to the benefit of us all.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

We spend only 17% of our budget on administrative costs.  The rest goes to support our programs.  We are always looking for ways to save money.  We combined our three offices into one in early 2007.  This alone has saved us thousands of dollars.
