Poor families in the Caribbean and Latin America desperately need protection from the elements, theft and disease-carrying vermin. FFP builds sturdy homes economically that help provide jobs and facilitate financial independence.

Why do we exist?

Food For The Poor’s mission is to assist the materially poor and to renew the poor in spirit. Using an established network of partners in the Caribbean Basin, Food For The Poor is able to equip and empower local communities with the goods, supplies, and projects needed for sustainable development.

What have you accomplished?

Since its inception, Food For The Poor has provided more than $5 billion in aid and has built more than 71,000 homes for the destitute. During its entire operation, Food For The Poor has helped its closest neighbors when natural disasters in the Caribbean and Latin America happen, and has maintained a steadfast commitment to bettering the lives of the destitute through housing, education, food, medical and sustainability projects.
