Feed The Children

Feed The Children provides food, medicine, clothing, educational materials and other essentials to children and their families domestically and internationally.

How do you help people in my community?

Through the generosity of committed partners, Feed The Children delivers much needed necessities to children and their families every day. We work closely with caring corporate partners that donate surplus food and other supplies, as well as with individual donors who help defray the cost of transporting the product donations.
The supplies and boxes are then delivered to pre-approved, independent partner agencies that, in turn, distribute the supplies through over 50,000 feeding centers, homeless shelters, churches and various other organizations located in communities across the U.S. Individuals and groups can also sponsor a food distribution, during which boxes are given directly to families in need.

Why do you need my support?

Our mission is to deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disaster.
Feed The Children’s purpose is to procure, collect and distribute food and essentials to needy children and families in all fifty states, the District of Columbia and dozens of countries around the world. Founded on the desire to help a single child, Feed The Children is consistently ranked as one of the 10 largest international charities in the U.S.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

Feed The Children meets the extensive standards of America's most respected charity evaluator, the Better Business Bureau.
At Feed The Children, our pledge to you is to be effective in our outreach to those in need by being good stewards of the funds entrusted to us. Our fund distribution is broken down into the following categories:
• 83% is directed to program services (child care, food, medical, disaster relief, education & community development),
• 13% is directed to fund raising, and
• 4% is directed to management & supporting services.

Can I Volunteer? How?

There are many ways to help children and families in need through Feed The Children.
Individuals and groups can coordinate a Special Project on behalf of Feed The Children. This Special Project can be a food drive to collect supplies, or a fundraiser to raise money for one of Feed The Children’s programs. Many groups often have a goal of raising the funds to sponsor a truckload of food to a specific area in need. To learn more about special projects, click on this link:
