How do you help people in my community?

You can receive personalized answers to questions on living with diabetes through our website at www.diabetesaction.org. In addition, anyone with diabetes can receive our free book on diabetes management which includes information on alternative therapies for treatment and prevention of complications of diabetes.

Diabetes Action provides summer camp scholarships to children with diabetes at 53 camps in 45 states across the country.

Why do you need my support?

Your support is needed to help us continue our education programs to help those already diagnosed with diabetes and prevent the alarming increase of new cases of diabetes among children as well as adults.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

Unlike many organizations that have high overhead costs, Diabetes Action strives to keep fundraising costs to a minimum and uses 100% of workplace contributions for research and programs.

Can I Volunteer? How?

Although we do not have local chapters, you can encourage your friends, relatives, or co-workers who have diabetes or may be at risk of developing diabetes to take a risk survey on our website.
