From Amarillo, TX, administered in third-world countries by missionaries and volunteers, provides international hunger and disaster relief: food, clothing, medical care and Christian education to poverty-stricken children and families.

How do you help people in my community?

By giving an opportunity to personally connect with children around the world.

Why do you need my support?

A small amount can make a big difference to a child in a developing country.  $25 will provide food, clothing, schooling and basic medical care for a child for a month.

Children receiving help from CRF have a chance for a better future.  Without this help, these children would not even have enough to eat let along the opportunity of attending school.  CRF programs provide nutritious food, clothing, schooling and medical care as well as Bible instruction which will make an eternal difference as well.   CRF’s vision is to reach as many children as we can while still providing quality care to children in need and maintain accountability and personal attention to our donors.  CRF seeks to distinguish itself from other organizations by the personal attention we are able to offer to donors.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

CRF is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability which requires high standards of accountability of its members.  FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR The Christian Relief Fund HAS RECEIVED A 4-STAR RATING FROM CHARITY NAVIGATOR, AMERICA'S LARGEST INDEPENDENT EVALUATOR OF CHARITIES. Receiving four out of a possible four stars means donors can be assured that The Christian Relief Fund is worthy of trust and excels in managing its finances efficiently and effectively.  CRF seeks to get the most possible benefit for the needy from every donor dollar.  Only 4% of total income is spent on fundraising; 4% is used for administration; 90% is designated for programs and reserves.  Detailed financial statements prepared by independent auditors are available upon request.

Can I Volunteer? How?

Yes.  One of the best ways to help on a volunteer basis is to tell those in your community, church group, etc. about the work CRF is doing.  CRF will be glad to send materials for use in presentations.  Volunteers are welcome to visit CRF projects in various countries to inspect, interact with the children, teach, offer help in medical services, construction, administration, computers, or other areas.
