Cal-Diego Paralyzed Veterans Association

Mission: to improve the quality of life of United States Military Veterans and others who have spinal cord dysfunction through the use of education, advocacy, research, communication, sports and recreation.

How do you help people in my community?

Cal-Diego PVA provides various programs such as our transportation program which assists members in getting to and from doctor appointment for free in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.  We also hold numerous events to raise awareness and funds for the transportation, sports and recreation, and education programs.

Why do you need my support?

Every little cent counts!

Cal-Diego PVA does not receive money from the government, so local contributions directly help our members here in San Diego. By helping to rehabilitate individuals with spinal cord injuries and diseases we can educate the injured persons, their families and our communities that life doesn’t end after a spinal cord injury or disease.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

Donors can specify to the chapter exactly where they want their contributions to be allocated.  We send out thank you letters informing the donors where there funds have been placed so they can be sure their money was designated for the program they chose.

Can I Volunteer? How?

We welcome all volunteers.  Please check out our website www. caldiegopva.org to see which program(s) you would like to participate in.
