How do you help people in my community?

When new innovative methods are discovered, which happens often in our work, we spread the news so that children in both your community and those living abroad can benefit.

Why do you need my support?

Money is needed to support our innovative small grants which we issue to several organizations in the U. S. and abroad every year to accomplish our goals. These are organizations that could not get large grants from the mighty foundation,s and we feel we are unique in this regard. The money goes an amazingly long way, especially in developing countries. It doesn’t really take much to save a child’s life---even in the United States.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

Our administrative costs are very low: 5.1%. We make a great effort keeping it that way, using volunteers and our board members who are medical professionals, lawyers, and business people, none of whom are paid. Every year our auditor is pleased with our low overhead.

We can use your help when we send out our newsletters and the mailing that we do for our sister organization in Bangladesh.
