How do you help people in my community?

We are an African relief and development charity. However, we do invite supporters and friends on an annual tour to Kenya to visit some of our programs (and to go on a safari!).

Why do you need my support?

99% of your donations goes to our programs in Africa. Even a small donation is a big difference especially since the dollar buys quite a lot in most African countries.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

We have an excellent reputation, small overhead and are not dependent upon government funding. Most of our programs are run by volunteers (over 130 of them). Our board meets four times a year and goes over our finances and budget along with our independent auditors. One of our Board members is from Ethiopia and another was the treasurer of the largest and very esteemed charity in Africa.
