How do you help people in my community?
The Baptist World Alliance is an international organization with a global vision to care and support people in need. We help people in every community by providing them with an opportunity to make a difference in the world. People want their lives to count for something. They want a sense of significance that is beyond them. Through the BWA, and the relief work of BWAid, people can network with individuals and churches around the world and have great satisfaction that the world is a better, healthier, safer place.
Why do you need my support?
The short answer is that we can’t care for the entire world and all its peoples by ourselves. We don’t have the resources of people or money we need. That’s where you can help. Your prayers and gifts, however small, when pooled with those from our other friends, can determine whether or not we can feed a child. Every thirty seconds a child dies of starvation in our world. We want to stop that. And you can help.
You, your church or Baptist organization may like to become an Associate Member of the Alliance. For a small annual donation, you can support the Alliance and also share in the ministries of the Alliance around the world. For a membership application, please call our Member Services at our office: 703-790-7970, ext. 129.
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?
