Why do we exist?
The American Red Cross of the National Capital Area is an organization managed by volunteers from your community. We are the only charity mandated by Congress to respond in times of disaster. All help given to people is free of charge and supported through charitable contributions and the United Way.
What have you accomplished?
Our services touch 1 in 3 people in our community, through disaster relief, health and safety education, youth programs, armed forces emergency services, community outreach and biomedical services.
