Why do you need my support?

The animals you cherish are facing increasing human threats to their very survival, including global warming. Every donation makes has an impact on our effective and innovative programs. Defenders relies primarily on these small contributions from over 500,000 donors to fund our life-saving efforts.   Defenders is uniquely qualified to meet wildlife challenges because of the blend of expertise we have in advocacy, public education, legal action, scientific research and grassroots organizing.  Our goal is to save and restore endangered species and their habitats for future generations to enjoy.

How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?

We were named by Reader’s Digest as “America’s Best Wildlife Charity”.
